The DINOSAURS are BACK!!!!!

The history books have it on record that dinosaurs were fearful creatures that terrorized every other breathing creature on the face of the earth...... So this is not one story people would naturally "yayyy" about.... hehehe..... Calm your nerves people ;-) they are not really back.

Dinosaurs (Almost) Come to Life at New Science Exhibit

The allure was unmistakable: Come to a dinosaur park in New Jersey! Get a private tour before it opens for the season! How could I refuse? I never saw “Jurassic Park,” I am no fan of theme parks, and New Jersey?  It speaks for itself.

Beautiful but terrifying tree house in South Africa

This is one place I'll surely find amazing to visit......... but only in the day time ;-) when I can see imminent danger and ruuuuuunnnn as fast as my long legs can carry me. You wouldn't want to be awaken from your night-time blissful dream by one of the 'Mufasa's' now would you? Yeah! I thought so, not even for all the champagne in the world......lol.

They're a far cry from the rudimentary tree houses we played in as children, in which imagination played a major role. A trio of strikingly beautiful tree houses on the Lion Sands Game Reserve, in the heart of South Africa's safari land, offer brave guests the chance to sleep under the stars, with wild animals lurking below.

Once dropped off guests are given insect repellent, torches and a two-way radio and left to their own devices while lions, hyenas hunt prey down below.

11 month old baby PARAGLIDING......No one should be allowed to do this to their kid

I have sincerely searched my thoughts for a nicer way of saying this, but I couldn't find any so I'm just gonna say it............ These parents are critically brain damaged for this.

I get the fact that some parents try to give their kids a nice time, and we love the adventurers....but come on! sending an 11 month old baby PARAGLIDING on her own is WRONG on soooooo many levels.
Well here's how the Daily mail is reporting it...... read and judge for yourselves.

In a bid to get into Europe..... NOT COOL!!!

So I used to think we had it bad in my country alone...... While it is nice to see that Nigerians are not the only ones trying to get away *covers face*, it is painful to imagine what hardship must have hit these people enough for them to decide heading out in this fashion was the only way out.

Selfies in the SKY!!!!

The "selfie craze" is not new to active social media users...... A combination of selfie and an adventuring spirit seems a recipe for extreme entertainment :-) ......I don't know if I have guts adequate enough to partake in such stunts *for now* hehehe.........

Terrorism and Tourism *no pun intended* + BOMB BLAST IN JOS

Terrorism and Tourism; two words that sound alike but never go together.....No tourism market thrives successfully anywhere in the world where terrorism or unrest exists.

                                         (Not actual picture)
There has just been a report of an explosion in Jos, Nigeria. A bomb exploded in the central area of Jos the Plateau state capital. The heavy explosion was heard at about 2:55pm Tuesday afternoon.
Casualties is said the be high because the explosion happened at a densely populated areas of Ahmadu Bello way where the GSM market is located. Sound of the explosion was heard in Bukuru, which is about 20km from Jos city.

Even Prince Harry LOVES to go on tours

I think Prince Harry's visit to Rome and the Colosseum has to be the most random occurrence for the tourists at the site...... You can see the obvious glee on the faces of so many of them.

Prince Harry looking impressive :-)

He was practically climbing a WATERFALL!!!! It was near fatal

Good day everyone, and welcome to a new week. I must say blogging is not an easy task in any way *pheeeeew* but I'm doing my best to find my way around the curve-balls; kudos to those who have been on it for a long time.

Today I'll be featuring the near fatal mountain climb of some adventurers. The video may be thrilling to some, and others may find it's something they cannot bear to watch past the first fifty seconds.......

A huge price to pay for "shortcuts"

People generally tend to prefer the easy way out of getting things done, and in most cases have found that the "easy way" turns out to be the most difficult.
I visited the Murtala Muhammed International Airport sometime yesterday, I had seen the person I was looking for, and was about heading out when I saw a lady looking lost and mumbling to herself........

Bomb blasts rock Kenya causing hundreds of tourists to flee

A major threat to the tourism industry of ANY country is terrorism...... because as much as we love adventures, we try as much as possible to stay away from imminent danger.

Yesterday, hundreds of British tourists were evacuated from Kenya, while others fled to their countries last night as the capital Nairobi was rocked by bombings.

The man who drives from West Africa to Europe

I think I just heard you say "what????".......  well yes he does. Who is this man you ask? He is one of my tour guiding mentors....... Godfried *sic* Peter Agbezudor; the founder of Continent Explorer tour company  and an adventurer to the core.
How does he drive to Europe from West Africa then?
He basically just takes out his maps, charts his routes, evaluates the countries he has to pass through to get there, checks out the immigration requirements and get the visas where necessary, pack up his camping stuffs and off he goes and for the thrill of adventures, he charts a different route every time he takes trips either with tourists or friends.

However, he doesn't go around with the modern vehicles you find in auto marts these days. Every single one of his vehicles are the old model jeeps with very powerful tires and real metal body..... *almost like a war ship* lol, seeing he has to drive through deserts, water, national parks, and the likes.
BTW, he ain't no super human as some of you may already think hehe. He does encounter a number of challenges on the way, but that's all considered to be a part of the experiences of adventurers.....

He was born in Ghana, son of a Christian mother and a Voodoo priest father.  He possesses close to thirty years of experience as a tour guide and has worked with soooooooo many tourists from every corner of the globe. He is fluent (and by fluent, I don't mean just the basics) in nine local West African and five foreign languages (Spanish, Italian, French, German, and Mandarin). He is mostly interested in cultural and wild life tourism as he interpret and explain traditional beliefs, rituals, ceremonies, and also a good tour guide for wild life documentaries. He is as dedicated as the sun to the earth....lol.

P.S: Things you must bring along for an adventure
* Money!!!! lots of it!! or at least a source (like a master or visa card). Have this, and every other need you have as you go along can be met :-)
*Water bottle *Towels * torch lights and batteries *soaps *power pack or inverter *buy maps or have an atlas *snacks etc.

That's it for now guys...... I hope you enjoyed reading. Please feel free to share your adventurer experiences in the comments section.

Now let the fun begin *happy face*

Yaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy!!!
Today the 16th day of May 2014, I try my hands out on blogging for the first time. Though at some point I did feel like giving up; it all seemed so challenging. Somehow, the love for giving my all into whatever I do was my background "cheer leader" lol and the need to provide YOU my first readers ;-) with something worth your click kept me from backing out within the first five minutes.....hehe.

I won't bore you with mushy details of how and where the idea to start up a blog was crafted in my subconscious somewhere in a faraway land.....but this I'll say for now;
Welcome aboard lovelies as we begin a merry journey through the world of adventurous minds on earth.
Thank you so much for stopping by *hugs*
